Ecoliteracy Narrative
This personal narrative describes a middle-school field trip to the New York Botanical Garden that changed how I think about nature. I focus on being in Ms. Ayala’s group and the moment I saw the titan arum (corpse flower) to show how curiosity turned into responsibility. The essay uses sensory detail and short scenes to show ecoliteracy as learning to notice relationships and act differently. For revision I smoothed transitions, tightened phrasing, and clarified the final reflection on responsibility.
